Status: On. The launch press conference was held in London on 30 September, and on 7 October Dana White announced the ticket on-sale in a video on his Facebook page. The fight had been in doubt in late September over White's role: Turki Alalshikh, who is funding it, wanted White as a promoter, while Joshua's contract ruled him out. Fury has enrolled in pre-fight drug testing, his manager told Sky Sports.

UK start time: Ring walk planned for around 1am GMT on Saturday 12 December, after a short live music performance, under a licence application to Cardiff Council reported by Sky Sports on 8 October. The stadium would stay open until 3.30am; the change is not yet approved, and objections run until 3 November. Eddie Hearn expects the boxing to start at around 8pm or 9pm on Friday. The fight contracts put the ring walks no later than 2am, The Telegraph reported.

Press conference: Held on Wednesday 30 September at the British Airways Arc at Olympia, London. Dana White did not attend. Turki Alalshikh spoke from the audience, and Fury and Joshua argued over an old sparring session.
Tickets: Sold out. Around 80,000 tickets went on sale at midday on Friday 9 October and more than 500,000 people joined the online queue; the stadium was close to full within the hour, BBC Sport reported. Prices ran from £88.50 to £13,128 including fees. Dana White said that evening there were fewer than 700 left and that the gate is scaled for around $34 million.
Undercard: No fights confirmed. Deontay Wilder has accepted an offer to face Jai Opetaia at heavyweight as the co-feature and is awaiting word, his manager Shelly Finkel told Dan Rafael on 9 October, and Dana White says there is "a really good chance" it happens. Filip Hrgovic says he could face Rico Verhoeven on the card.
If it falls through: Fury says he would fight David Benavidez instead, and Chris Eubank Jr has offered to step up to heavyweight. Nothing has been agreed.

Both men won the WBA 'super' title by beating Wladimir Klitschko: Fury in Dusseldorf in November 2015, Joshua at Wembley in April 2017. They came closest to fighting each other in 2021, when Fury said a fight in Saudi Arabia was "100% on" before an arbitration ruling sent him back to Deontay Wilder. The 2021 collapse.
