Manny Pacquiao in advanced talks to fight Joe Cordina on Fury v Joshua card
Eddie Hearn, Joe Cordina's promoter, said negotiations for the fight are at an advanced stage but that it is not yet a done deal. It would be Pacquiao's first professional fight in Britain.

Manny Pacquiao could face Cardiff's Joe Cordina on the undercard of Tyson Fury's fight with Anthony Joshua in December, with talks between the two camps at an advanced stage.
Eddie Hearn, Cordina's promoter, confirmed the negotiations but said the fight had not been finalised.
The bout would be Pacquiao's first professional fight on British soil. It would also be his first against a British opponent since he knocked out Ricky Hatton in the second round in 2009.
For Cordina, it would be the biggest fight of his career and would take place in his hometown. The Fury-Joshua event, which will be shown on Netflix, sold approximately 80,000 tickets within an hour.
Pacquiao is the only boxer to have won world titles in eight weight divisions, and his professional record stands at 62 wins, eight defeats and three draws. His last fight was in July 2025, when he came out of retirement to challenge Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight title. That fight ended in a majority draw.
Cordina has twice been IBF super-featherweight champion. He lost the belt to Anthony Cacace in May 2024 on the undercard of Fury's first fight with Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury and Joshua have been rivals for a decade and will meet in December.
