Vasiliy Lomachenko likely to face Charly Suarez on February return, Bob Arum says
Arum hopes Lomachenko can then fight unified super-featherweight champion O'Shaquie Foster by the middle of next year. Nothing has been officially announced.

Vasiliy Lomachenko will probably face unbeaten Charly Suarez when he returns to the ring, promoter Bob Arum has said, with a fight against O'Shaquie Foster hoped for by the middle of next year.
"Loma will probably fight Charly Suarez," Arum said after Foster's win over Emanuel Navarrete in San Antonio. "And then hopefully by next mid-year, they can fight each other."
Dan Rafael reported, after speaking to Arum, that the comeback is planned for February. No date, venue or opponent has been officially announced.
Suarez (19-0) was the mandatory challenger for Navarrete, and The Ring reported that Navarrete was allowed to face Foster on condition that the winner fought Suarez next. Foster unified the WBC, WBO and IBF super-featherweight titles on Saturday.
Lomachenko (18-3) retired in 2025 while holding the IBF lightweight title and has not fought since beating George Kambosos Jr in May 2024. The two-time Olympic champion said at ringside that he is returning at 130lb, where he once held the WBO title. He turns 39 in February.
