Conor Benn open to Conor McGregor fight after Ryan Garcia loss
The British boxer is taking a break to spend time with his family after being stopped inside two rounds by Ryan Garcia, but said he would commit fully to a crossover bout with McGregor if offered.

Conor Benn has said he would be all in if offered a boxing match against Conor McGregor, despite stepping away from the sport after his defeat by Ryan Garcia.
The 30-year-old Briton dropped back down to welterweight for the first time in four years to challenge Garcia for the WBC title, but was stopped inside two rounds. In the aftermath, Benn said he did not know what came next and that his immediate priority was time with his children, adding that his family had paid the highest price for his career and had shared him with boxing their whole lives.
A return at middleweight in 2027, possibly building towards a third fight with Chris Eubank Jr, looks the more likely route for Benn than a crossover bout.
McGregor, a former two-weight UFC world champion, has boxed professionally only once, losing to Floyd Mayweather in 2017, but has never ruled out a return to the ring. After losing to Max Holloway earlier this year, the Irishman has one fight left on his UFC contract.
Benn is signed to Zuffa Boxing, which, like the UFC, is headed by Dana White, and that arrangement could potentially make a fight between the two viable.
