O'Shaquie Foster and Vasiliy Lomachenko have agreed to fight next year, The Ring reported, after the two came face to face at ringside following Foster's win over Emanuel Navarrete on Saturday night.
"Here's the guy you're gonna fight next year," a man told Foster as Lomachenko was introduced. Lomachenko congratulated him on a "great fight", and after settling on "next year" the two finished the exchange with "Let's do it" and "Yeah, let's do it". No date, venue or purse has been announced.
Foster knocked Navarrete down twice in the 12th round on his way to a unanimous decision, unifying the WBC, WBO and IBF super-featherweight titles. Lomachenko said in a ringside interview that he is returning at 130lb, his natural weight, after walking away from a fight with Gervonta Davis.
