Eddie Hearn calls Dana White's Zuffa Boxing 'a laughingstock of the sport'
The Matchroom promoter said the people running Zuffa have "not a clue about boxing" and that White should admit at the end of the year it has been "an absolute monstrosity".

Eddie Hearn called Dana White's Zuffa Boxing "a laughingstock of the sport" and said the people running it have "not a clue about boxing" in an interview with DAZN.
The Matchroom promoter said White should hold his hands up at the end of the year and admit this year has been "an absolute monstrosity", but expected the company to call it "a really good start" instead.
He said: "It doesn't matter how long they're gonna go on for, 'cause they have not got a clue. Not a clue about boxing. Like, he has to sit there at the end of the year and go, hands up, it's been an absolute monstrosity, a disaster. But they won't do it. They'll go, it's been a really good start, you know, it's gone much better than I thought it would do. Really? You're a laughingstock of the sport, mate. That's the reality. So humble yourself, do your work, study, get better, improve, come back."
Hearn said he had "loved this year" and had "never been so popular", and that White was making him look like "a mixture of the patron saint of boxing" and James Bond. He added: "So please, Zuffa, don't go anywhere."
After Dalton Smith's win over Alberto Puello in Sheffield on Saturday night, Hearn said he would like to be responsible for Zuffa's decline "and potentially the extinction within 10 months" (read more). Shakur Stevenson has left Zuffa Boxing, with White saying he offered Stevenson his release (read more), and Devin Haney has signed with DAZN (read more).
