Sean Strickland says Nassourdine Imavov rematch is 'almost there', with pay still to agree
Imavov has won five fights in a row since losing to Strickland in 2023, and the UFC's December card in Las Vegas still has no headliner.

Sean Strickland says his next fight is close to being locked in, with pay the last thing to settle. The fight is a middleweight title rematch with Nassourdine Imavov, targeted for UFC 335 in Las Vegas in December.
"We're discussing pay now. Once that detail is squared its locked in. The issue is no one cares about the fake Frenchman. We're almost there," Strickland wrote on X.
Strickland beat Imavov in 2023. The Frenchman has won five fights in a row since, including wins over Caio Borralho and Israel Adesanya, and is No. 3 in the UFC's middleweight rankings, behind Khamzat Chimaev and Dricus Du Plessis.
