Darren Till calls for Mike Perry fight and says Perry can be the A-side
Till said after beating Yoel Romero at BKFC 94 that a fight with Perry would sell out a stadium, and that Perry could have top billing and more money to make it happen.
Darren Till wants to fight Mike Perry at the start of next year, and says he is happy for Perry to be the A-side to make it happen. Speaking at the BKFC 94 post-fight press conference in Manchester after beating Yoel Romero, Till said the fight could fill a stadium.
"I personally think that me and Perry sell a stadium out," Till said. "I think the build-up, I think the history, I think the back and forth now for eight years is just... what could come of that?"
He pointed to the crowd he had just drawn: "I sold that arena out tonight." And he made the offer plain: "So if Mike wants to come back here, if he wants to be the A-side and get more money or whatever, my managers hate me now for saying this, I don't give a f*ck, but I want that fight. I want that fight to start the next year, if David can make that happen, and I know he can." David is BKFC president David Feldman.
The question came from a reporter who said he would open a crowdfunding page to make the fight.
