Darren Till beats Yoel Romero on all three cards in BKFC 94 main event in Manchester

The Liverpool fighter won a unanimous decision, 49-46 on every card, over the 49-year-old Cuban at the AO Arena, then called out Tommy Fury.

Darren Till beat Yoel Romero by unanimous decision in the BKFC 94 main event at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday night, with all three judges scoring it 49-46, MMA Fighting reported. The bare-knuckle fight was contested at a 190lb catchweight.

Till, who fights out of Liverpool, had weighed in at 188.8lb to Romero's 189lb for a fight between two former UFC title contenders, as set out in our BKFC 94 weigh-in results. Romero, the former Olympic wrestling silver medallist, turned 49 in April.

The strangest moment came in a clinch. Footage filmed from the crowd and shared on X shows Romero with his tongue out against Till's bloodied cheek as the referee reached in to separate them. "The weirdest part of the fight tonight was when Yoel Romero started randomly licking the blood off of Darren Till's face," the fan who posted it wrote.

Afterwards, Till called out Tommy Fury. DAZN's interviewer said Fury had banned Till from one of his events and had been invited to Manchester for the fight. "Let's get it on. I'm not gonna chase you. If you want to get it on, I'm here in the bare knuckle," Till said. Asked about a fight with Mike Perry, he said: "I've called him out for years. Look, I say it loudly, I'm not scared of anyone. I've just fought one of the scariest men in the world."

BKFC champion Lorenzo Hunt then got in Till's face in the ring, in footage from BKFC posted by MMA Junkie. "You fought like a b*tch tonight," Hunt told him. "In front of your friends, in front of your family. You came here and you let us down." Till's answer: "If you come in on me, you will get slept," meaning knocked out, "and you know it."

It topped a busy night at the AO Arena. Jack Cullen took the BKFC middleweight title from David Mundell on a split decision, Gaz Corran stopped Mac Bygraves in the third round and Karl Thompson outpointed Andy Thornton.
