Dana White jokes about Sean Strickland getting into Canada for UFC Edmonton
White said there are no issues with Strickland's contract, which he signed in May, and that he had not seen him in Edmonton.
Dana White joked that he could not believe Canada let Sean Strickland into the country after being told Strickland had been in Edmonton for UFC fight week.
At the UFC Edmonton post-fight press conference, a reporter said Strickland had been in town cornering Melissa Croden. White replied: "How the hell did you guys even let him in this country? I can't even believe it. If he can get in here, anybody can, apparently. It's good news."
White said he had not seen Strickland during the week. Asked about Strickland's contract, he said: "There's absolutely no issues with his contract. He just signed his contract in May."
Days before the event, Strickland had taken aim at Edmonton on X, writing that the city's mayor should "live there for their term".
