Johnny Fisher edges Michael Pirotton on a majority decision in his Zuffa Boxing debut
The Romford heavyweight won 98-92, 96-95 and 95-95 at the Copper Box after ten hard rounds, rocking Pirotton with a big right hand in the last.

Johnny Fisher had to dig deep to win his first fight for Zuffa Boxing, beating Michael Pirotton by majority decision in the main event of Zuffa Boxing 11 at the Copper Box Arena in London on Saturday night. One judge scored it 98-92, another 96-95 and the third a 95-95 draw, ufc.com reported.
Fisher had the better of the early rounds. A left hook appeared to stun Pirotton in the second, and he went back to his corner with a cut over his left eyebrow. In the fourth the referee paused the fight for the doctor to look at it before Fisher hammered the Belgian against the ropes. But Pirotton pushed the pace from the fifth, had two of his best rounds in the seventh and eighth, and was landing more often as Fisher tired in the ninth.
The final round settled it. After a strong start from Pirotton, Fisher landed a big right hand that shook him, and kept throwing power shots to the bell. The win is the 15th of Fisher's career.
It was the Romford fighter's first bout since leaving Matchroom for Zuffa, as covered in our Zuffa Boxing weigh-in report. In the chief support, Craig Richards was dropped for the first time in his career and lost to Radivoje Kalajdzic: Richards beaten on his Zuffa debut.
