Anthony Yarde says Joshua Buatsi is 'as boring as watching paint dry outside of the ring'
Buatsi faces Willy Hutchinson for the vacant WBC light heavyweight title on November 7, and Yarde wants him to win so the pair can finally meet.

Anthony Yarde has called Joshua Buatsi "as boring as watching paint dry outside of the ring", but still wants him to beat Willy Hutchinson so the two can fight for a world title.
"Because of the public, the Buatsi fight would just make more sense," Yarde said. "I would probably want him to win so me and him could fight for a world title."
Buatsi and Hutchinson meet for the vacant WBC light heavyweight title at the AO Arena in Manchester on November 7. Buatsi won their first fight on a decision in 2024 after putting Hutchinson down twice.
Yarde and Buatsi have long been linked, but the fight has never been made. "I would have probably rather fought Buatsi in England, a bigger fight for a world title, than go to Saudi Arabia," Yarde said. He named David Benavidez and Artur Beterbiev, adding: "I would have preferred the Buatsi fight over all of them. I am not saying because it's an easier fight or anything like that, it is because in my opinion it was a bigger fight."
Yarde rated Hutchinson above Buatsi for entertainment outside of the ring, saying "Hutchinson makes sense as well" on that score.
