Dana White and the UFC will not be producing Anthony Joshua's fight with Tyson Fury on Netflix, according to Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn, who says Sela have put it in writing.

In a video he filmed himself, Hearn said: "Sela have confirmed to us, in writing, that Dana White and the UFC are not doing the production for this show."

Hearn said White's account of his role has kept changing. According to Hearn, White first said he was the promoter of the show and had done the venue deal, then said he was one of several people promoting it, and now "wants to pivot to say he's doing the production". Hearn added: "Under our contract, he can't."

According to Hearn, the production company Whisper has a contract to produce Fury vs Joshua on Netflix. He said he was willing to talk if White's side wanted that changed: "If they want to speak to us about changing the contract about the production, I'm open to a conversation."

Hearn also claimed victory in the wider row over the fight. "I've won our battle," he said. "The main battle was, don't let this fight happen in America. Don't take this fight away from British fight fans. And we won."
