MVP challenges Floyd Schofield's WBA lightweight title win over Lucas Bahdi
Bahdi's promoter says knockdowns were missed and that, scored correctly, Bahdi would have won by majority decision.

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), Lucas Bahdi's promoter, has formally challenged Floyd Schofield's unanimous-decision win over Bahdi for the vacant WBA lightweight title.
Schofield won on scores of 116-110, 119-108 and 115-111 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago on 10 October, handing Bahdi the first defeat of his career. The title had been vacant since Gervonta Davis was stripped.
"The video evidence demonstrates multiple significant officiating errors that directly impacted the outcome of the fight," MVP said in a statement on 19 October.
The dispute centres on knockdowns that Bahdi's team says were missed. MVP says that had they been ruled and scored correctly, Bahdi would have won by majority decision.
MVP has filed its protest with the State of Illinois Athletic Board and sent its findings to the WBA with a request for an immediate rematch. The WBA can order a rematch, but only the Illinois board can change the result.
