Alex Pereira on UFC 334 poster: "Why the Women's Fight is Not the Main Event?"
The man Ciryl Gane beat at the White House says Kayla Harrison against Amanda Nunes should top the card at Madison Square Garden, not Gane's title defence against Josh Hokit.

Alex Pereira has asked why Ciryl Gane's heavyweight title defence against Josh Hokit, rather than Kayla Harrison against Amanda Nunes, is the main event of UFC 334.
Pereira reposted the official poster for the card on his Instagram story on 9 October and wrote: "Why the Women's Fight is Not the Main Event? Okay let me help promote this cause not one is payin attention to it..."
UFC 334 is at Madison Square Garden in New York on 14 November, live on TNT Sports in the UK. Harrison defends the women's bantamweight title against Nunes in the co-main event. That fight was first set for January but was postponed when Harrison needed neck surgery, and Nunes is coming out of retirement for it. Her last fight was a title defence against Irene Aldana at UFC 289 in 2023.
Both men in the main event have a link to Pereira. Gane stopped him at 1:27 of the second round at UFC Freedom 250 at the White House in June, in Pereira's first fight at heavyweight, and was then promoted to undisputed champion when Britain's Tom Aspinall vacated the title. Hokit has said Pereira lost because of "the wrath of God", and that he has "better eyes than Pereira".
Jon Jones said on 10 October that Hokit "very well could win" against Gane.
Pereira is not on the card. He fights Sergei Pavlovich in the co-main event of UFC 335 in Las Vegas on 12 December.
