Joe Rogan signs new Spotify deal, reportedly on similar terms to an estimated $250m one
The UFC colour commentator's show, ranked the No 1 podcast in the US by reach in the second quarter of 2026, stays with Spotify.

Joe Rogan, the UFC's colour commentator, has signed a new multiyear licensing agreement with Spotify for The Joe Rogan Experience. The Wall Street Journal, citing anonymous sources, reported that the new deal has similar terms to the one he signed in 2024, which carried an estimated earnout of $250m.
"The partnership with Spotify has been an amazing fit, and they're incredible to work with," Rogan said in a statement. "I'm extremely happy and excited to continue with them for years to come."
Jordan Newman, Spotify's head of content partnerships, said: "Joe has built something incredibly enduring, and his show continues to resonate with a massive global audience because there's simply nothing else like it. Spotify's podcast business has grown alongside 'JRE' over the years, and we're excited to keep building on that partnership for years to come."
Spotify announced the deal on 8 October and did not disclose the terms. It will keep handling ad sales and licensing for the show, which has also been on Apple, Amazon and YouTube since Rogan's 2024 renewal ended its Spotify exclusivity. The podcast has more than 18 million followers on Spotify and was the No 1 podcast in the US in the second quarter of 2026 by reach, according to Edison Research.
Rogan was on commentary with Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier at UFC 332 in Salt Lake City on 3 October, and interviewed Wang Cong, in her Joker make-up, at the ceremonial weigh-ins the day before.
