Joe Joyce responds to 'slow' and 'punchy' claims: "It turns out that I am neurodivergent"
The former WBO interim heavyweight champion told Daily Mail Boxing's The Hook that he sought help, and that he has had to engage lawyers over his finances.

Joe Joyce has responded to claims that he is "slow" or "punchy", saying he sought help and found that he is neurodivergent.
"This is like, you know, something that I've had all my life," Joyce said on Daily Mail Boxing's The Hook. "I sought help and it turns out that I am neurodivergent."
Joyce also addressed his finances. "Things have come to light about my finances. I've had to engage lawyers to investigate everything," he said. The programme noted that he has said recently he is not in a position to retire financially.
Joyce, 41, held the WBO interim heavyweight title from 2022 to 2023, and has also held the Commonwealth, British and European heavyweight titles. He has lost five of his last six fights but has insisted he is not retiring.
