King Green on Herb Dean stoppage against Esteban Ribovics: "Let me go out on my shield"
Dean stopped the fight in the first round at UFC 332. Cornerman Rampage Jackson said Green is "like my brother".

King Green says he was "a little mad" that Herb Dean did not let him fight on after Esteban Ribovics stopped him in the first round at UFC 332.
Dean waved it off at 4:08 of the first round at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City on Saturday, ending a four-fight winning streak.
"Wow oh wow, sheesh. Great fight, s*** happens," Green said on Instagram afterwards. "I told myself regardless or not, I'm not going to be mad at myself but I'm a little mad. I told Herb, this is going to get sticky. Let me go out on my shield. I was still fine. I wanted to keep fighting. I feel like we were getting somewhere."
The loss likely sets back Green's hopes of a BMF title shot, after Dana White had backed him for a shot if he won.
Green walked in with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, who worked his corner. Asked on the UFC broadcast when he last cornered a fight, Jackson said: "I don't even remember. That was a long time ago... Probably my son, I don't know. I don't really corner."
"Bobby asked me to corner him... I was like, I don't want to do all that, but you know, he's such a good guy, I didn't want to say no," he said. "Bobby's the entertainer. He's going to bring it no matter what. It's just, for me, he's my boy. He's like my brother."
The two camps clashed before the fight. Green's group, including boxer Arnold Barboza Jr, came face to face with Ribovics's team after Ribovics missed weight by half a pound. Ribovics, who forfeited 20 percent of his purse and was not eligible for a bonus, said the two exchanged words as the fight was stopped but that it was aimed at "the boxer guy", not Green. He blamed the weight miss on the air conditioning being turned on during his cut the day before: "Basically I stopped sweating."
