Jacobe Smith speaks to the UFC backstage after beating Bruce Whitehead at UFC 332 — UFC

Jacobe Smith has a message for Kevin Holland, and it is not a friendly one.

Smith knocked out late replacement Bruce Whitehead in the first round at UFC 332 in Salt Lake City on Saturday, finishing him at 1:32. Whitehead was only on the card because Holland had pulled out.

It was the second time the fight with Holland had fallen through. The pair were first booked for July before Holland's injury pushed the fight back to UFC 332, and he then withdrew again. MMA Fighting reports Holland has since been booked to face Uros Medic at UFC 334 next month.

"Yeah, I wanna kill Kevin Holland. I want to murder Kevin Holland, put me through two fight camps," Smith told the UFC after the fight.

"I'm setting up my life outside of fighting too. And then for me to put that on pause, to set up a fight and then you cancel the fight week and then get us to reschedule, you accepting two times. And then you don't show up to Utah, your foot still hurt, but you accepting fights with other dudes."

He added: "You better hope Uros Medic gets your ass out of there 'cause if you win, I'm coming for you."

The win made Smith 4-0 in the UFC, all four by stoppage. "Not too many that can withstand what I got when I'm ready to send that storm out there," he said. He had been hoping for "a walk-off knockout, but you know, it was slick in there. So I had to get them to the ground and do what I did."

His warning to whoever is next: "You're gonna have to be ready to f***ing fight if you think you're gonna step in the cage with Jacobe and make it a full 15 minutes."
