Sean Strickland says "bingo" to claim money, not injury, kept him off UFC 335
The middleweight champion replied to a fan who said he wanted more to fight Nassourdine Imavov, a week after saying pay was the last detail to settle.

Sean Strickland has suggested money, not his car crash injuries, is the reason he is not headlining UFC 335.
Under an Instagram post by Ruben Carter saying Strickland would miss the December card because of injuries from his crash, a fan commented that it was not about injury and that he was asking for more money to fight Nassourdine Imavov. Strickland replied: "Bingo lol."
The middleweight champion had already said pay was holding up a rematch with Imavov. "We're discussing pay now. Once that detail is squared its locked in. The issue is no one cares about the fake Frenchman. We're almost there," he posted on X on 27 September.
Strickland was hurt in a rollover accident in late September but was back sparring a day later. He beat Imavov in their first fight in January 2023, and Imavov has won five in a row since, including a knockout of Israel Adesanya.
UFC 335 in Las Vegas on 12 December is now headlined by Charles Oliveira vs Diego Lopes for the BMF title, with Alex Pereira vs Sergei Pavlovich as the co-main event.
