Jake Paul has dismissed the idea of a rematch with Tommy Fury after the pair traded insults on X over a viral clip of Fury at a Halloween event.

Paul started the exchange by comparing Fury with his partner, Molly-Mae Hague, writing that she runs a business, raises their children and pays the bills, while Fury's job had been not to get kicked out of a haunted house.

Fury answered with a reference to Paul's last fight. Paul has not boxed since Anthony Joshua knocked him out last December, a defeat that left him with a broken jaw. Fury wrote: “Look who can’t keep my name out their mouth. I’ll see you very soon buddy. Time to break the other side of your jaw. You fat tattooed prick.” Paul ruled out a second meeting. He wrote: “Never happening. Ship has sailed.” Fury told Paul never to mention his name again, adding: “Enjoy the loss for the rest of your life you first class bum.”

Fury won their fight more than three years ago on a split decision. It was Paul's first defeat, after a 6-0 start to his record that included wins over former MMA champions Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.

Fury has stayed unbeaten since. He has beaten KSI and then Kenan Hanjalic, his most recent sanctioned bout, to move to 11-0 as a professional. He pulled out of a proposed fight with former UFC welterweight title contender Darren Till after Till said he might kick him in the head during the bout, and instead fought strongman Eddie Hall in an exhibition in June.
