Charlotte Padie will make her professional debut in ONE Championship against Rodrigues, the Brazilian who holds the ONE Women's Atomweight Muay Thai World Championship.

Facing a reigning champion first time out puts Padie straight into title company. She has made clear she intends to win a ONE world title for France. Alexis Nicolas became the first French fighter to win ONE gold when he took the lightweight kickboxing world championship in 2024, but that belt has since changed hands.

Padie comes from Bruay-La-Buissière, a former mining town in the Pas-de-Calais region of northern France. She trained at A.S.A. Kick-Boxing de Bruay-La-Buissière under coach Marian Krzymanski, whose club produced national podium finishers, and she collected podium places at Billy-Berclau, Grenoble and Thonon-Les-Bains in quick succession.

In November 2018, while a student at Lycée Carnot de Bruay-La-Buissière, she travelled to Rome for the Junior World Kickboxing Championships and won the under-56kg title by knockout. She has spoken of her intention to turn professional ever since.

She is a French national champion in two striking disciplines: kickboxing and Burmese boxing, a rare credential outside Myanmar. Burmese boxing, known as “the art of nine limbs.”, adds headbutts and bare-knuckle strikes to the kickboxing arsenal. Her background leaves open a future in ONE's Muay Thai and kickboxing divisions as well as in MMA.

Padie moved into MMA in early 2026, competing on the French amateur circuit to build the grappling and transitional skills her striking background lacked. That amateur run brought both wins and losses before she turned professional.
