Canelo Alvarez fights Christian Mbilli at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday in one of the most anticipated boxing bouts of the year.
It is Alvarez's first fight since Bud Crawford beat him by unanimous decision. That defeat cost him the WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring super middleweight titles, and left his record at 63-3-2 with 39 knockouts.
Mbilli holds the WBC super middleweight title, to which he was elevated after Crawford retired. He is unbeaten at 29-0-1 with 24 knockouts. The draw on his record came against Lester Martinez last September, when the judges returned a split decision.
