Conor McGregor has claimed he outsells Canelo Alvarez and others, the day after Alvarez won the WBC super middleweight title.

"How many views did the canelo fight get? How many in attendance? Gate ? Man I outdo ALL of these people in sales. Majorly. EVERY SINGLE ONE. With ease. Maybe even combined," McGregor wrote on X on Sunday. He did not give any figures. "I don't even be trying," he added.

Alvarez beat Christian Mbilli by unanimous decision in Riyadh on Saturday night.

McGregor said he "still done all them numbers in that last bulls*** that I've to sit with for another few months before I return." His comeback against Max Holloway at UFC 329 ended inside 69 seconds when he injured his knee, and he has since had ACL reconstruction surgery.

"I'm going to actually try to sell the fight for my next one. My final fight. See what numbers I can generate. Keep outdoing my own records," he wrote.

McGregor has one fight left on his UFC contract and has said he hopes to return as soon as International Fight Week in 2027, although nothing has been booked.
