Ben Whittaker says Dana White might be at his fight: 'It's like a pack of wolves out there'
The unbeaten light heavyweight says he and his manager have had "numerous messages" before Saturday's IBF final eliminator with Conor Wallace in Birmingham.
The UFC boss runs a boxing promotion that has already taken Conor Benn from Matchroom, and Ben Whittaker has heard he might be ringside in Birmingham on Saturday.
"I heard Dana might be at the fight. That's what I heard," Whittaker told Ariel Helwani. "I've had numerous messages, and my manager has had numerous messages. They're all hungry. It's like a pack of wolves out there, man. I'm just trying to keep them at bay with a stick. They're dive-bombing in, man, head first."
White's Zuffa Boxing is a rival to Eddie Hearn's Matchroom, which promotes Saturday's card.
The Wolverhampton light heavyweight, unbeaten with 12 wins and a draw, meets Australia's Conor Wallace in an IBF final eliminator at the Utilita Arena Birmingham on Saturday 3 October, live on DAZN.
