British former WBA super middleweight champion Rocky Fielding has contacted BKFC president Dave Feldman in a bid to fight Darren Till, Feldman has said.

Feldman made clear the promotion had not settled on Fielding, saying BKFC was in talks with other big names for Till's next fight. He said many fighters wanted to face the former UFC welterweight title challenger, and that Till had become a target after BKFC raised his profile.

The talks follow Till missing out on a boxing fight against Jake Paul, despite negotiations reaching an advanced stage. Till has fought twice under the BKFC banner and has one bout remaining on his contract, but can see himself staying with the promotion long term and has credited his relationship with Feldman for that.

Till and Fielding have traded words online over the years. The exchanges began when Till left the UFC and Fielding asked for a boxing match against him. Till accepted the callouts, but the fight never came together.

Liverpool's Fielding last fought in November last year, when he knocked out Simion Tchetha in the third round. His biggest night came in 2018, when he defended his WBA title against Canelo Alvarez and was stopped by body shots in round three.
