Fury vs Joshua UK start time: ring walk planned for around 1am in Cardiff licence bid
The Principality Stadium wants to stay open until 3.30am on Saturday 12 December, with the ring walk after a short live music set. A council spokesperson said the ringwalk is "commencing at 1am".

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are due to walk to the ring at around 1am UK time on Saturday 12 December, according to a licence application to Cardiff Council.
The application from Millennium Stadium plc, which runs the Principality Stadium, plans the ring walk for around 1am after a short live music performance, with the stadium open until 3.30am, Sky Sports reported. A council spokesperson said: "This is to facilitate the proposed Anthony Joshua v Tyson Fury bout, with the ringwalk commencing at 1am."
The application asks to extend the stadium's permitted hours for boxing from the current 1am cut-off to 3am on 12 December, and for recorded music, late-night refreshment and the sale of alcohol until 3am. The roof will be shut throughout. The changes have not yet been approved, and objections can be made until 3 November.
The fight is billed for Friday 11 December, but the main event will fall in the early hours of Saturday, a slot that suits peak viewing time in the United States. All UK times for the fight are GMT, because British Summer Time ends on 25 October.
A 1am walk fits what Eddie Hearn had said: he expected the main event at around 1am to 1:30am, with the boxing starting at around 8pm or 9pm on Friday. The fight contracts put the ring walks no later than 2am UK time, The Telegraph reported, and Fury's manager Spencer Brown had called 2am "far too late": Brown on the start time.
Fury vs Joshua is live on Netflix at no extra cost to members. Tickets go on sale at midday UK time on Friday 9 October. Full details are on our Fury vs Joshua page.
