Jose Aldo says he cried after Conor McGregor loss because he knew there would be no rematch
Aldo says Dana White told him in the locker room after UFC 194 that McGregor could no longer make featherweight and was moving up to lightweight.

Jose Aldo says the tears after his 13-second defeat by Ireland's Conor McGregor were not about losing his title, but about knowing a rematch was off the table.
Aldo lost the UFC featherweight title to McGregor at UFC 194 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on 12 December 2015. The UFC released locker-room footage of the Brazilian crying with his team.
Aldo told Mundo da Luta, in an interview carried by MMA Fighting, that Dana White came into the locker room and told him McGregor could no longer make featherweight and was moving up to lightweight, so the fight could not happen again.
"I cried a lot because, in my mind, after I lost, I thought, '... there's going to be a rematch because I was a dominant champion,'" Aldo said.
"That's why I was crying. Everyone thinks I was crying because I lost. No, I was crying because I knew we weren't going to fight again. There was no way for me to get that win back."
Aldo later won the featherweight title back, and he and McGregor are now on friendly terms.
