Prospect Leo Atang, 19, wants to win English and British titles on way up
The teenage prospect fights for the ninth time in 15 months on Saturday in Sheffield, with a 12 December date in Monaco already lined up.

Leo Atang has said he wants to win the English and British titles on his way up rather than skip the domestic levels, as the 19-year-old prepares to box in Sheffield on Saturday.
The Sheffield fight will be Atang's ninth in 15 months, and he already has a second date to follow on 12 December in Monaco.
Speaking on SunBoxing's Corner Talk Podcast, Atang said he has to do everything properly and tick every box. He said many fighters turning professional now want to jump straight to stardom and glamour. In his view, experience has to be earned the proper way, because the fighters at the top today built theirs over long amateur careers or in the professional ranks.
Atang also said training alongside established gym-mates pushes him harder. He named Joe Cordina and a fighter he called Callum among those working beside him each morning. He said that having them watch him on the pads makes him feel he has to do better, even though he trains hard regardless.
He said he picks up tips from them after sparring, works on small details from their styles and watches how they prepare for big fights.
