On Saturday the UFC announced a Dallas Fight Night for 16 January 2027
The Fight Night card will be the UFC's first event of 2027, ending the promotion's usual holiday break from mid-December to mid-January.

The UFC will open its 2027 schedule in Texas, with a Fight Night card at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on 16 January. The promotion announced the event on Saturday during UFC 333.
The date brings an end to the holiday break the UFC now traditionally takes from mid-December to mid-January. No fights have yet been announced for the card.
It will be the UFC's seventh event in Dallas, and all six previous visits were held at the American Airlines Center.
The promotion was last in the city for UFC 277 on 30 July 2022. In the pay-per-view main event, Amanda Nunes beat Julianna Peña by unanimous decision in a women's bantamweight title rematch. In the co-main event, Brandon Moreno stopped Kai Kara-France in the third round to win the interim flyweight title.
