Dana White says he is flying to Washington 'right now' for Monday meeting with Trump
The UFC CEO said he would have "more to talk about" after meeting the president over the press secretary offer, after a source told CNN earlier on Saturday that he had turned it down.

Dana White says he is flying to Washington, D.C. "right now" to meet President Donald Trump on Monday, after Trump publicly offered him the job of White House press secretary.
Asked for his reaction to Trump's post at the Zuffa Boxing press conference in London on Saturday, White said: "I'm flying to Washington, D.C. right now." Asked whether that meant straight after the press conference, he said: "Yeah, right now."
Asked about his conversations with the president, White said: "No, I'm going to meet with him. We have a meeting on Monday, so I'm sure I'll have more to talk about after that." Asked how he would balance the role with everything he does at the UFC, he said: "I got a lot of jobs already."
White has not said whether he will take the job. Earlier on Saturday, a source told CNN's Kaitlan Collins and Isabelle D'Antonio that he had declined the offer, theScore reported.
Trump made the offer in a Truth Social post on Saturday and asked White to bring fighters including Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje with him as assistants. White then posted what Bloody Elbow said appears to be an AI-generated image of himself speaking at the White House on his Instagram story, with the caption "On to the next chapter."
