Renato Moicano on Tom Nolan's hero praise: 'I don't want compliments. I want money.'
The pair headline UFC Vegas 123 at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas on Saturday, and Moicano has three fights left on his UFC contract.
Renato Moicano has no time for Tom Nolan's admiration. Told at UFC Vegas 123 media day that his opponent had called him one of his heroes, Moicano said: "Ah, f*** that, Tom Nolan. I'm gonna beat your f***ing ass, bro. Stop that sh*t."
Asked whether Moicano was a hero of his growing up, Nolan had said: "Yeah, for sure. He's one of the... yeah, one of the heroes."
When a reporter asked if that meant he would not take the compliment, Moicano said: "No, no, no. I don't want compliments. I want money."
The main event at the Meta APEX is expected at 02:00 UK time early on Sunday (UK start time and how to watch). Moicano, 37, has three fights left on his UFC contract and has said he wants to test free agency once it runs out.
