Joselyne Edwards to be backup fighter for Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes at UFC 334
Edwards will be on standby for the bantamweight title fight, the co-main event at Madison Square Garden on Saturday 14 November.

Joselyne Edwards will weigh in as the backup fighter for the Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes bantamweight title fight at UFC 334, MMA Fighting reported.
Harrison vs Nunes is the co-main event at Madison Square Garden in New York on Saturday 14 November, beneath Ciryl Gane vs Josh Hokit for the undisputed heavyweight title. The card starts at 10pm UK time (UK start times).
Harrison and Nunes were first scheduled to fight in January, but the bout was pushed back about 10 months after Harrison had neck surgery. Nunes, who came out of retirement, sat out rather than take an interim title fight. Harrison has detailed the neck fusion that threatened the fight.
Edwards has won five in a row in the UFC since late 2024. She finished four of those opponents, two of them in the first round, before a decision win over Norma Dumont.
Nunes has said she will not retire again if she beats Harrison.
