O'Shaquie Foster calls Ryan Garcia vs Floyd Mayweather 'kind of sad for Ryan'
The WBC super-featherweight champion, who faces Emanuel Navarrete in San Antonio on Saturday, called Mayweather "almost a senior citizen".

O'Shaquie Foster says a fight between Ryan Garcia and Floyd Mayweather would be "kind of sad for Ryan", speaking in San Antonio during fight week for his unification with Emanuel Navarrete.
"Floyd my goat," Foster said. "He the greatest fighter ever to me, but I wouldn't like that at all. That's kind of sad for Ryan."
Foster called Mayweather "almost a senior citizen" and said it was time for the sport to move on to younger fighters. "Sometimes the time is just over, man. You gotta hand it down to the youngest, man. We in the mix now," he said. "Times change, man. MJ got old."
"Wish him the best luck," Foster added. "If they do fight, I hope he come out with his brains and everything, you know, come out healthy."
Garcia wrote on X on Wednesday that he and Mayweather had agreed to a fight at 147lb for Garcia's WBC welterweight title, with Mayweather's 50-0 record on the line.
Foster, the WBC champion, faces WBO and IBF champion Navarrete at the Frost Bank Center on Saturday, live on DAZN in the UK. The UK start time and full card are on our fight page.
