Ryan Garcia says Floyd Mayweather has agreed to fight him for the WBC welterweight title
Garcia wrote that the fight would be at 147lb with Mayweather's 50-0 record on the line. Mayweather has not publicly confirmed it, and no contract, date or venue has been announced.

Ryan Garcia says Floyd Mayweather has agreed to fight him at welterweight for his WBC title, days after Garcia said talks between the pair had begun.
"Trust me at first I thought this was bull*** But it's real Floyd and I agree to a fight 147 for the WBC welterweight championship of the world 50-0 vs The current champ," Garcia wrote on X on Wednesday night.
Mayweather has not publicly confirmed the agreement, and no contract, date or venue has been announced. Garcia has said he wants a sanctioned professional fight with Mayweather's unbeaten record at stake and has ruled out an exhibition.
Mayweather, who is 50-0, turns 50 in February 2027 and has not had a professional fight since beating Conor McGregor in 2017. His outings since have all been exhibitions.
Garcia made the first defence of his WBC welterweight title last month, stopping Britain's Conor Benn in the second round at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
