Khamzat Chimaev beats Robbie Lawler by tech fall in the first period at RAF 14
The former UFC middleweight champion now faces Colby Covington for the RAF crossover title in Abu Dhabi in three weeks.

Khamzat Chimaev beat Robbie Lawler by technical fall in the first period of their Real American Freestyle wrestling match, the co-main event of RAF 14 in Las Vegas on Friday.
Chimaev took the former UFC welterweight champion down almost straight away. A second takedown followed quickly, and a gut wrench took him to 8-0 before one more takedown ended the match.
Afterwards, Chimaev said he was happy to finally get Covington and would "break his neck". It was his fourth match since he lost the UFC middleweight title to Sean Strickland in May, after wins over Dillon Danis, Tyron Woodley and Gilbert Burns, while Lawler had been retired for more than three years.
