Powar, 24, won on all three scorecards after the ringside doctor allowed Miller to box on for two more rounds with severe swelling over his eye.

Zak Miller's bid for the vacant British featherweight title ended after ten rounds, when the contest was halted because of heavy swelling over his eye and sent to the scorecards.
All three judges favoured Powar, 96-95, 97-94 and 96-94, making the 24-year-old the new British champion. The fight was on the undercard of Joshua Buatsi and Willy Hutchinson's rematch for the vacant WBC light-heavyweight title, shown on DAZN.
The ringside doctor allowed Miller to continue for two more rounds after the swelling developed, and the time it took for him to be pulled out drew criticism from viewers. One said: “Hope Zak Miller is ok. Doctor let that go on for another two rounds.” Another said: “I can’t believe he is stood there waiting for the decision. He should be on his way to hospital surely immediately.” Buatsi won the first meeting with Hutchinson by split decision on the Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois undercard in September 2024.
