Lone'er Kavanagh stops Ramazan Temirov in the first round at UFC 333
The English flyweight moved to 11-2 and handed Temirov the first defeat of his UFC career.

England's Lone'er Kavanagh stopped Ramazan Temirov at 4:28 of the first round of their flyweight fight on the UFC 333 main card in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
Temirov gave Kavanagh some early trouble, but late in the round Kavanagh hurt him with an uppercut and finished the fight with follow-up punches as the referee stepped in.
The win moved Kavanagh to 11-2. Temirov had been unbeaten in three UFC fights, most recently a first-round stoppage of former title challenger Steve Erceg.
Kavanagh came into the fight off a loss to Brandon Royval, and said before the fight that he was taking lessons from that defeat into UFC 333.
Earlier on the card, Alexander Volkov beat Rizvan Kuniev on a unanimous decision. UK times for the rest of the card are on our UFC 333 UK start time page.
