John Fury won't attend Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua: "More chance of seeing a cow fly"
Fury's father, estranged from his son, says the fight is "an accident waiting to happen" and that he will wait for someone to tell him who won.

John Fury will not be in Cardiff to watch his son Tyson fight Anthony Joshua on 11 December.
"Let me tell you, you have more chance of seeing a cow fly than me bothering with it," John said. "I don't like the people in it, and I know accidents can happen. I'm not involved, so I don't want to go to the fight."
The two have become estranged in recent years. John, 61, believes Tyson, 38, should already have retired, and says he has all but given up trying to advise him. "There's no more I can do for Tyson," he said.
He is worried about what more fights could do to his son. "I look at him as a father with children, and if he gets brain damaged, it is worrying. If anything happens to him and he gets injured permanently, the money means nothing to you," he said. "For me it is an accident waiting to happen. When you carrying on boxing too long, the inevitable could happen." He said the same risk applies to Joshua: "It has become dangerous for him and Joshua."
He will follow the result the same way as Tyson's mother. "I'll be doing what his mother does. I'll wait for somebody to tell me who wins the fight," he said. "I don't need validation to go to a boxing match and sit there and be an absolute spare pr*ck at the wedding."
John Fury retired at 27, came back for one last fight at 30 and finished with a record of 8-4-1. Fury and Joshua meet at the Principality Stadium, live on Netflix. Start times, TV and tickets are on our Fury vs Joshua page.
