Renato Moicano plans to stop fighting MMA after three more UFC fights for influencer boxing
The 37-year-old told The Ariel Helwani Show he would box for "half a million dollars, million dollars" and does not want to end up like Tony Ferguson.

Renato Moicano plans to stop fighting MMA once he has fought out his UFC contract, and he told The Ariel Helwani Show that he would rather move into influencer boxing.
The 37-year-old first put the number of fights left at "maybe 2 or 3" before saying: "I just don't want to say, but I have 3 more fights." His comments came two days after his third-round TKO defeat to Tom Nolan in the UFC Vegas 123 main event.
Before that fight, Moicano told MMA Fighting he wanted to test free agency when his deal ended. He has now gone further. "I want to finish my contract, and once I finish my contract, I don't want to fight MMA anymore," he said.
Asked what he wanted to do instead, he said: "I wanna do boxing, like influencer boxing. I want to beat up people that don't know how to fight, you know?"
Money would decide it. "If they pay me a f***ing half a million dollars, million dollars to box, I would," he said. Asked whether there is that kind of money in it, he said "some Brazilian shows, you can get paid a lot", though he was not sure there would be big demand for him in those fights.
Moicano said he did not want to follow the path of Tony Ferguson. "I don't wanna be like Tony Ferguson, like 8 fights trying to be a champion, 40 years old trying to fight, like 6-fight losing streak," he said.
He also ruled out signing with another MMA promotion after the UFC, saying it would not make sense when he covers the UFC on his YouTube channel and live streams. A new UFC offer looks unlikely to change his mind. "I think after these 3 I'm done because they're not gonna pay me enough for sure, you know?" he said. He added that a good deal would be fine but that he did not think it would happen.
Moicano has no date for his return to the octagon. He is promoting Money Moicano MMA 2 on 5 December in Sao Paulo.
