Paulo Costa: 'Nothing from the UFC' as he plans to fight at the end of the year
The No. 6-ranked light heavyweight, who has won his last two, says he will 'fight somewhere' but did not name an event or promotion.

Paulo Costa says he has heard "nothing from the UFC" about his next fight and plans to fight at an event at the end of the year.
"Nothing from the UFC. I'm going to fight at an event at the end of the year. I'm in great shape and in my prime. I'm going to do what I love - fight somewhere," the Brazilian posted on X, alongside a photo of himself in the gym.
He did not name an event or a promotion, and did not say he had left the UFC.
Costa, 35, is ranked No. 6 at light heavyweight and has a 16-4 record. He has won his last two fights, beating Roman Kopylov on a decision in July 2025 and Azamat Murzakanov at UFC 327 in April: Paulo Costa's record and next fight.
