Lopez holds the WBA welterweight title, and the WBA has ordered him to defend it against Jack Catterall, with the camps given until 22 October to agree terms before a purse bid. Catterall has told Lopez to fight him or give up the belt, while Lopez has been angling for Garcia: Catterall tells Lopez to fight him or vacate.
