Caroline Dubois on Alycia Baumgardner: 'I think I'll beat her and make it look easy'
The WBC and WBO lightweight champion says she is not afraid to move up in weight and names 154lbs as "potentially" the heaviest she would ever go.

Caroline Dubois says she would beat Alycia Baumgardner and make it look easy, and then have to go looking for another opponent.
Asked about Baumgardner in an interview ahead of MVP W07, the WBC and WBO lightweight champion said: "She could, and I think I'll beat her and make it look easy, and then I'll have to look for another one."
She added: "But I think luckily I have the ability to move up in weight, and it's something that I'm not afraid of. And when you look at the weights above, 140, 147, 154, there's unbelievable champions."
Asked how far she could move up, Dubois said: "I'm thinking the heaviest I'd ever see is 154, potentially." She went on: "I want big fights, big nights, and big moments. That's what I'm chasing."
Baumgardner, who challenges Elif Nur Turhan for the IBF lightweight title in Arlington, Texas, has said Dubois "has no backbone" and that she would "run through Caroline" (read more). She has also said she has been told the winner of Dubois v Stephanie Han will be her next opponent if all goes well against Turhan. Dubois will be ringside and wants to face the winner at the O2 Arena in London, while Baumgardner has said she would rather fight her in Las Vegas (read more).
Dubois faces Han, the WBA champion, for three lightweight world titles on Saturday 20 February at the GECU Arena at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Han's hometown (read more).
