Michel Pereira books first fight since UFC exit against In Su Hwang at ZFN 5 on 19 December
Pereira became a free agent after losing to Shara Magomedov in June, and Hwang is a former Road FC middleweight champion.

Michel Pereira will fight for the first time since leaving the UFC when he faces In Su Hwang in a middleweight bout at ZFN 5 on 19 December. ZFN, the promotion run by Chan Sung Jung, announced the fight on Monday, and the card will air live on UFC Fight Pass.
Pereira (32-15, 2 NC) became a free agent after losing a decision to Shara Magomedov in June. That fight drew controversy because Magomedov held Pereira's hair during grappling exchanges and referee Herb Dean did not punish him.
The 33-year-old won 10 of his 16 UFC fights across two weight classes, with victories over Khaos Williams, Santiago Ponzinibbio, Michal Oleksiejczuk and Niko Price. The bout takes him back to South Korea, where he went 3-0 with three knockouts in Road FC before joining the UFC.
Hwang (9-2), 32, headlined ZFN's last card in May, stopping Alex Polizzi in the third round. He lost to Ireland's Paddy McCorry on Dana White's Contender Series in September 2025, with all three judges scoring it 30-27 for McCorry.
