Dalton Smith wants Hillsborough stadium fight next, says Matchroom's Frank Smith
The WBC super-lightweight champion makes his first defence against Alberto Puello at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield on Saturday, live on DAZN.

Dalton Smith wants his next fight to be at Hillsborough, the home of Sheffield Wednesday, Matchroom's Frank Smith said at Friday's weigh-in in Sheffield.
"You know, he wants to do the Hillsborough fight next. We've got the guys from Sheffield Wednesday down tomorrow at the fight. We're going to make that happen. But he wants the biggest fights time and time and time again," Frank Smith said. He gave no date or opponent for a stadium fight.
The Matchroom boss said a lot of people would have complained about facing a mandatory challenger like Puello. "But Dalton's like, yeah, let's have it," he said.
"Every time he stepped up in the levels and people said it was too soon. He showed me the performances where he belongs in the sport," he added. "He can really be the star of British boxing. He's got everything there."
Both men weighed 139lb 6oz for Saturday's fight.
