Fabio Wardley's rematch conqueror Daniel Dubois targets January return
Frank Warren has ruled out an immediate unification fight between the WBO champion and Agit Kabayel, who defends his WBC title on 28 November, saying there would not be enough time.

Daniel Dubois wants to box again in January, Frank Warren has said, just months after stopping Fabio Wardley inside two rounds in their rematch at the O2 Arena.
That timing rules out an immediate unification with WBC champion Agit Kabayel, according to Warren. Kabayel defends his belt against Albanian Nelson Hysa on 28 November, and Warren said there would not be enough time for the fight to follow, as both men would need a training camp.
Warren said of Kabayel: “He’d need a break and he’d need a camp. And Daniel wants to be out in January.” Dubois wants to unify the division, and IBF champion Filip Hrgovic is another possible opponent. The winner of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury's meeting for the vacant WBA title on 11 December is also an option.
Dubois was back in Warren's office a week after the rematch, and Warren said they had held a meeting and were working on his return.
The October win was Dubois's second over Wardley this year. He stopped Wardley in the 11th round as the challenger in their first fight, then made his WBO title defence in the rematch five months later.
