Uros Medic says he's 'a little tired' of watching Islam Makhachev win: 'Go rest, go relax'
Medic, who faces Kevin Holland at UFC 334 on 14 November, says the welterweight champion has accomplished everything and should get out if he is considering retirement.

Uros Medic says he is tired of watching Islam Makhachev win, and that the UFC welterweight champion should leave the sport if he is considering retirement.
"I'm a little tired of watching Islam Makhachev winning at the top," Medic said on the Believe You Me podcast. "I'm like, come on, go rest, go relax. You're the best, bro. I'm not afraid to say he is the best in the division right now. He is the champion. There's no doubt about it. But if you're talking or considering retirement, bro, get out. You've already accomplished everything. Go do your thing, bro. Go be a businessman, go be a politician; he can do everything. He is a smart fellow."
Makhachev (29-1) has won 17 straight fights since his only defeat in 2015. He defended the lightweight title four times before moving up to welterweight last year, and he won the 170lb title against Jack Della Maddalena. In August he defended it against Ian Machado Garry.
Makhachev turned down a defence against Carlos Prates at UFC 336 on 30 January, and Prates will now face Michael Morales for the interim title on that card. Joshua Van has defended him over the backlash, while Randy Brown has said the champion should fight more often.
Medic (14-3) has won his last four fights by first-round stoppage. He faces Kevin Holland at UFC 334 at Madison Square Garden in New York on 14 November. Jacobe Smith has named Holland as the fight he wants next.
