Eddie Hearn says Simon Jordan has to apologise for comments about his father before he will meet him, and that he will keep talking to talkSPORT but not to Jordan.

"I've got no problem meeting up with Simon, but he has to apologise... We're going to talk to everybody at talkSPORT. I'm just not up for talking to Simon Jordan," Hearn told talkSPORT.

Hearn said the problem is a remark Jordan made about his dad. "Ultimately, he said something about my dad that I thought was rude and in bad taste. But this is my opinion. His opinion was, no, it wasn't, because you said I was a boy. So I called you old and decrepit," he said. "When it happened... I can't tell you the rage. I text him and I told him the rage... But he can't bring himself to do it [apologise], so it's f***ing irrelevant anyway."

Jordan, a talkSPORT presenter, has called Hearn a bully. On talkSPORT, Jordan said: "If Hearn and his motley little crew are going to deny access to talkSPORT, that's up to them... They're not grown-ups."

Anthony Joshua, Hearn's fighter, has taken his promoter's side. "I'm with Eddie," Joshua told talkSPORT. Asked about Joshua, Hearn said: "This is one of the greatest humans I've ever met... this guy is one of the most loyal people."

Joshua fights Tyson Fury in Cardiff on 11 December. Start times, TV and tickets are on our Fury vs Joshua page.
