Conor McGregor claims he outsells Canelo Alvarez and vows to sell final fight
The former two-division UFC champion, recovering from ACL surgery, has targeted International Fight Week 2027 for a comeback expected to be the last bout on his current contract.

Conor McGregor has claimed he comfortably outsells Canelo Alvarez and other stars, perhaps even all of them combined, after Alvarez drew attention for beating Christian Mbilli on Saturday.
Alvarez is widely viewed as boxing's biggest draw, but McGregor questioned his numbers, writing on social media: “How many views did the Canelo fight get? How many in attendance? Gate?”

The former two-division UFC champion also said he would raise his promotional efforts for his return from the ACL surgery on his knee. He has targeted International Fight Week 2027 for that comeback, which is expected to be the last bout on his current UFC contract.
McGregor wrote: “I’m going to actually try to sell the fight for my next one.” He added that he wanted to see how high the figures could go, finishing with: “Keep outdoing my own records.” He already holds the UFC's pay-per-view sales record, set by his fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov. His boxing match against Floyd Mayweather is also one of the biggest-selling fights of all time, behind only Mayweather's bout with Manny Pacquiao.
