Robert Whittaker faces Bogdan Guskov next at UFC Sydney after Nikita Krylov win
The former middleweight champion continues his light-heavyweight run on 7 February at the Afterpay Arena, in a fight whose winner is likely to cement a place among the division's top contenders.

Robert Whittaker will continue his light-heavyweight run against Bogdan Guskov on 7 February, with the pair booked for the UFC Sydney card at the Afterpay Arena.
The winner will likely cement a place among the top contenders in a division currently being held up by its injured champion, Carlos Ulberg. Guskov was most recently stopped by Magomed Ankalaev in Abu Dhabi.
Whittaker comes into the fight after forcing Nikita Krylov to quit at UFC 329. The former middleweight champion, who once fought as low as welterweight, has put on weight and is avoiding weight cuts to enjoy his life more. He will now compete 35 pounds above the weight at which he started his UFC career.
It is unclear whether Whittaker would fight on if he loses to Guskov.
Top lightweight prospect Quillan Salkilld is also on the card, which will start early on Sunday morning in Sydney.
